Just some views of and about the world I see and live in, when I have leisure to record it.

Oh look! a chicken!
One for Mel. Because she looks at chickens :) And these two for I,S,LTV to whom a while ago I promised chickens :) they've not been out much during the winter but the other day they came out again.xxx
Bless your HUGE heart, Mig. I soooooo needed a lovely moment far away from the realities of the day. And bless that I found it here, amongst kindred spirits.
A cock of the walk to be sure! I hear them in the early part of the morning, but the cows drowned them out the rest of the day! Thanks for the ~smiles~
See, I know you are good at looking at chickens Mel:) He is rather splendid isn't he :) Very happy to have given you some pleasure (((((Mel)))))
They were walking the walk all up and down the road Sorrow. Not for my benefit I'm sure but there was a good deal of sidling and little glances which seemed to say "this is my best side ok?"
Handsome is as handsome does Malc. They wander about all over the road - I wonder where they lay their eggs. and how long it takes to find them all! :)
Well as soon as I told you I'd post some more I, they all vanished (I was a bit worried they might have gone to a hotter place - not mentioning pots or anything like that) but when the sun came out there they all were again :)
I love them all, and I really really like the way your photo shows the black one in all its purpley-blueness too (you know, the way black feathers catch the light and change colour - irredescent, is that the word?)
*sitting up and clenching muscles all over the place* The perfect word :) I love the word and the irridescence :) Cor! It's hard work, this muscle clenching thing. Youngest tells me you have to do it without tightening your diaphragm (so as to keep breathing while you clench. worse than chickens these damn muscles all following each other.
I take a lot of photos. I eat and drink a little (just a little) too much, read fast, play a violin slowly, love my kids, husband, dog, cats, home, the English landscape, most other landscapes, music, the changing seasons, sparkle and texture and colour, my friends, my computer, my car ~ my life really. What more do you need?
I don't sleep enough and I'm always late.
Well you can't have everything.

Hi Mig~
Just came by from Sorrow, and realized that I've also seen you at Mel's place!!
So glad I stopped by. Your photo's are freaking amazing!! I so admire someone who has talent with a camera.
Also...just looking at these photo's, makes me want to move to where YOU live! Simply gorgeous!
I will most definately be back see more of your talent!
P.S. And you play the violin...my favorite instrument!

and you have to do it ALL THE TIME to strenghten up your inner muscle core
but when you've done it, it's worth it - life without back pain is physical BLISS!!
