That angel looks like it's had a few too many drinks and is going to topple over. Although they said in Dogma that angels can't drink?

Note to self - do not believe everything you see in films

Oops!~ a drunk angel! I guess it would depend on the type of drunk, a happy one I hope!

what is lichen??? is it something growing on the rock???

:)

Frangelita. Would you know something about the drinking habits of angels that the rest of us don't?

Note to self - ask Frangelita when I want to know esoteric information only available from films.

Bound to be a happy drunk I'd have thought Star, and a soft landing (albeit a few brambles and nettles)when it's had enough. and yes I believe lichen grows on rocks and wood. Weird stuff but very pretty :)

Your photos remind me of a book I read recently, A summer of robins.

All the American miniGoths would be so jealous to see such fine gravestones with lichen. Even better at nite there I bet!

I'm sure they have a fine old time in the moonlight Mangey :) In fact I bet the angel is actually still hung-over from the last full moon :)

thank you! thank you!

thanks mig, a smile be on my face

(oops, lapsed into pirate speak a few days too early)

ps fantastic lichen! just makes me want to go in even closer. . . (I have one of those things about lichen - you know: the textures and the depth of colour and the patterns, and all that on top of lovely stones too - nature doing wonders, as usual)

and frangelita made me smile too - how wonderful for you both!
