Bit of this and that

This place was like a secret valley from Narnia or the Silver Brumbies. To read fulsome, over the top description and see sadly inadequate pics go to Scottish holiday blog :)

Place to dip the toes and wriggle...if only I could have reached it. Had to take the hot, tired toes back to B&B and water them there instead.

You may adore rocks anytime Mel...these ones did, er...rock!

Hi Rebecca, I wish I was there too, though I suspect the secret valley has now hidden itself away in mists and rain.

Mangey, I am getting an image of the returning Scottish lady, striding through the heather and bracken playing triumphant scottish Rock/folk music and followed by an entourage of slightly puzzled bobcats, coyotes, lizards, ravens and bossy curs. Rant Boy at her side! this may be a trifle romantic on my part tho :)

Hi again Blog Dog :)

and, bugger the view (no offence to first picture!), I just wanna dive into that pool and swim to the bottom and stay there enjoying the stillness of it all. . .

thanks mig

Mind, I did wonder if there might be something mythical (and possible inimical) lurking under the big dark stone :o

hmmm

now I just had to look that word

inimical

up in a dictionary

yup, that is I, surely, under the big stone: frightening the heebeejeebies out of all the other inimical things in the pool

hee hee hee
