Oh, what a wonderful old tree.

I wonder just how old it is.
And the white birch weaving it's way into the gnarledness--*sigh*

WOW what cool things you can do with that programmy thingie!

It's the first time I've met this tree Mel. I hope to meet it again often :)

it is a rather wonderful tree

I like reversing the colours (whatever the techincal name for that last effect is) and enhancing them (the greener tree)

but I just like the ordinary tree too

then again, I like the b/w version

so I'm glad you shared them all

thanks

I saw some great tree bark today. . . which I thought I should return and photograph. . .

. . .and then I thought I actually need to download all the photos that are still on the camera form a rather rainy August in Polzeath (only I can't find the camera cable) and then I thought "I should buy a new camera cable!!"!!

a lot of thoughts, but maybe a new year's resolution and a half, in there somewhere, eh

I'm already looking forward to the next time you visit the tree!

:-)

I so know those chains of thought that lead up to "I should buy a new....."
Usually they end up with a Mel type pppffft!
Cos I'm not good at resolution :)
