I think it's letting me comment again Mel. But it does do some odd things.

sometimes I get into my account thru making a comment and then going to my profile view and clicking on "edit profile view" and then working my way thru the dashboard!
sneaky, and strange that one can do it that way - but I don't really understand programming, so I don't know what's not possible, if you see what I mean
(I frequently Ctrl C comments, because if it's a long one -which they often are - !! - it's so annoying having to retype it if you've lost it)

It's a bit like taking homeopathic stuff I. Even if nothing seems to have changed, you can't be sure things wouldn't have got even worse if you hadn't tried it.(I'm now going to ctrl C , just in case whapping didn't really work :)
I think they do it on purpose. I couldnt comment on yours yesterday - it claimed I wasnt doing the word verification thing right. I bloody was!

I think it's global warming Samantha. they're overheating and will soon be flooded. Large, loose icebergs will float past on our screensavers and monstrous things will occasionally splosh out onto our keyboards and flop helplessly around saying only you can save mankind.
