Awesome! I foolishly just said to my Brit husband, "I didn't know there were buzzards in England" (with thoughts of our Turkey Vultures in mind)...he just stared at me with "stupid american" expression he reserves for me at moments like this. Anyway, great photo!
I adore Buzzards - there are so many nround here becasue fo the hawk Conservancy and their release programme. I watch them with a kind of reverance. I also adore looking at the Kites on the M40.
ON another topic - are you in work tomorrow pm Mig? I'm popping in for a 'cello case. If you're there I'll say Hi (didn't have time on Weds, but I had Small Beep with me)
Turkey vultures is an interesting thought! conjures up the idea of the Christmas dinner finishing off its own left overs. (sorry, Thanksgiving, I suppose, over there). I am a complete sucker for any large soaring/gliding/swooping birds. and birds of prey by extension, like our little falcons. I used to watch them for hours and now I run around after them waving a camera. Yes Beep, I will be there tomorrow. Hooray! (but after 12.30 as I have a washing machine man coming(eth), maybe. I have to say Sherbert, when I saw this one on the screen I did that idiot grin you do when something came out much better than you deserve!or expect or could have hoped :) :)
I take a lot of photos. I eat and drink a little (just a little) too much, read fast, play a violin slowly, love my kids, husband, dog, cats, home, the English landscape, most other landscapes, music, the changing seasons, sparkle and texture and colour, my friends, my computer, my car ~ my life really. What more do you need?
I don't sleep enough and I'm always late.
Well you can't have everything.

Hi Eikki, yes the time was an illusion :) I played with the colour a bit. It was taken at midday.
I love buzzards (well, in Canada we get turkey vultures)...oh, and I also think you have a great blog!
