I wanna live there even during the storm!

Holy moley, Mig.....where do you find such loveliness?!

*dreamy sigh*

I'll be humming the Beatles and dreaming of dreamy places for sure!
Bless your heart.....

if that's not Richmond Park, I'll eat my proverbial hat

(altho I don't recognise the churchy type building)(and shot and mel, it looks far more stunning in mig's pictures than in real life. . .)(something about the way she photographs skies *sigh*)

when I ripped the bandages of my wrist/hand on Saturday in the amulance journey from here to the hospital, in order to try and squeeze even more blood out of whatever vessel was already spurting, the ambulance man wanhted to make me look out of the window at the deer - I didn't, but if I had done I think that that bottom image would have been what I'd seen. . .

the thing about the stream is that I always want to strip off and go skinny dipping, but that is not approved of in a Royal Park. . .

of course, I could be wrong and it might not be Richmond Park at all

but the photos are stunning

sorry, it's these new drugs, making me tell it how it is

I should just have said "the photos are stunning!"

you are so very very talented

as well as being a wonderful friend

I , Do not, repeat, not, eat your hat :)
It is Richmond park (source of sausage rolls and coffee as well as deer and stormy skies :)
And really, the sky was like that! I was supposed to be hurrying a bit but instead I kept getting stopped in my tracks. (Probably annoying other drivers, more accustomed to seeing herds of deer at close quarters)
The white castle is usually grey and a bit dingy but there was a stray splash of light on it in between a marvellous brewing up of storm clouds :) It's Donnington Castle near home.

The river would have been very tempting without the seriously looming clouds I have to say :)

One wonderful friend deserves another (several). I will take Mels fairy advice and just say thank you for that :) And please, please always say whatever you feel like saying, Life isn't all beautiful and fairy tales have their dark side. And their wry and ironic and painful sides. I'd never want to lose the knowledge of that.

'shot, there are so many places I want to live! A castle would be fine wouldn't it :)

The places find me Mel! Usually when I ought to be somewhere else :) But hey, it only takes a few seconds to find a place to park the car, jump out, run back, take a pic or three, curse cos I've not changed the settings from the day before, take another few pics ans then a few more cos if twenty is good.....
And oh! Oops, I'm about to be late again!

Oh Mig, this place you live is so beautiful. The Storm looks like heaven right now. I'd love to photograph my grand kids running through the grass on the top photo. Thanks for sharing these.

There were hordes of children and teenagers and parents and backpackers running about and throwing things to each other and playing and taking photos Betty :) I felt almost as though I was cheating, trying to find a bit with no people in it :)

Thank you spiralskies:)
It was yummy at the time and I believe I could visit it a hundred times and never see it like that again!

have returned many times to look at your wonderful photographs

I'd love to write a story and have your pictures illustrate it

or, which would make more sense, you send me a bunch of photos and I'll write a story around them. . .

(new psychiatrist is trying to get me to tap into my inner self)(I so wish I'd not been going down hill when I wanted to make those little photo books for you. . . but hey! tomorrow is another day and maybe one of those another days we'll get something sorted!)(or at least meet again, under happier circumstances. . .)

lots and lots of love in exchange for continuing hugs dear mig

Gorgeous pictures Mig and to have them without running children (and yellow balloons) is some kind of fairytale in itself...

Ooh, this could be a project I !
I'm really happy to think of another day, tomorrow or whenever. (and very much honoured to think that you revisit) And I believe in those other days to come.
Love and hugs to you too :)

Well there's a bit more room in the park than in an airport ovagirl :) And thank you :)

no no no

it's my honour and pleasure to be able visit you here

:-)

well, see I often feel a little sneaky about using images from google - and I remember how much I loved the printing when I was bookbinding. . .

but it would be easy to load digital photos onto pages (once one had worked out the pagination) and if we did it as a joint project (just for fun, or gifts, not for £s) there would be no copyright issues. . .

and of course, there is always the "little books" project with your photos, that I'd love to do with/for you (for £s if you wanted to sell them!)(or just for fun for gifts. . .)

and (she rabbits on - sorry, should have stuck this in an email really) you could just email me anything, or we could have a theme or a topic, I'm not keen on images with people so we wouldn't need anyone's permission. . .

just some thoughts, which are making me smile

thank you, mig, for the ability to make me smile

Honours even then dear I .
I hadn't given up on the little books. Just hoping for a better time to come. And I absolutely love the idea of a story round my photos or photos for a story already written - either way it would be great fun. And if anything like your illustrated songs and writings, could be very beautiful. For a story, I believe I'd use some processing to give the photos a more illustrative quality and to make the end result more cohesive.
I'm smiling too at these ideas and very very happy to have given you something to smile about.
